The Moldavite ® Series
Experience the transformational power of the Crystal Tones Moldavite Bowl®! You will not find this bowl anywhere else! This bowl is made with a special process that actually fuses the moldavite with the crystalline structure of the bowl so it changes the tonal structure and creates a truly out of this world sound! It must be heard to be believed! This unique and remarkable bowl really touches everyone that sees or hears it. Many people have remarked on the unusual sound that it creates. The sound is one that cannot be described.
Moldavite is the only extraterrestrial gemstone. Although it is green in color, the name is derived from where it is found - not from the color of mold! It comes from the Moldau River region in the Czech Republic (also known as Moldavia in the former Czechoslovakia) and thus the name Moldavite. It is a tektite, or a mineral that is formed when a meteor hits the earth. The main accepted theory about it's origin is that when a large asteroid hit a neighboring region in Germany around 15-20 million years ago, some of the silicate earth that was ejected up through the earth's atmosphere came back down, melted and re-formed in the process - and was transformed into the mineral we know today as Moldavite. Thus - although it was a stone from the earth, it was transformed through this process into a truly unique gemstone that possesses qualities of both heaven and earth. Most moldavite is green to dark brownish green in color. Some of the finer museum-quality pieces can be much lighter in color with fern or feather-like textures. Most moldavite has tiny bubbles trapped inside - small pockets of what our upper atmosphere was like 15 million years ago! The beautiful green translucent color of Moldavite is produced by the presence of iron in combination with aluminum. It is the only known tektite that has a gemstone clarity which permits it to be cut into faceted stones. Moldavite jewelry is very popular!

Introducing the unique and amazing Egyptian Blue Series® Bowls! These beautiful bowls were designed and created exclusively by Crystal Tones to harmonically link the wisdom of the Ancient Ones with the healing technology of the future. The Egyptian Blue Bowl® is modeled on the Quartz Crystal Egyptian Bowls from the 13th Dynasty Thebes, Egypt. (see below) These beautiful creations are all as individual as a fingerprint - no two are alike!
The Crystal Tones Egyptian Series® 
was inspired by this Quartz Faience Bowl from the 13th Dynasty Egypt - (1,700 B.C.E. - nearly 4,000 years old!). Faience is the oldest artificial substance, first made in Egypt 5,500 years ago, a millennium before glass was invented. It has a core of powdered quartz particles that are fused to each other with heat, much like the crystal singing bowls of today. Over the core is a glaze, applied in one of several different ways. (The bowl at right is from the Myers Museum Collection at Eton College.)

B# - above the crown, higher spirituality

Crystal Bowl Extras Options
A) True Tone or "True Pitch Note" crystal bowls are matched with precision to the desired tonal key. Each and every crystal bowl is unique and has some +/- degree of varience within it's frequency range. True Tone bowls are more difficult to create, since they require a more time-consuming and exacting standard. There is an additional charge of $25 for each True Tone crystal bowl. (limited availability)
B) The Heart crystal bowls, F & F#, are the most popular bowls. Close attention is paid to the creation of these crystal bowls, and through a proprietary process an exceptionally clear toned crystal bowl is produced. There is an additional charge of $35 for each heart crystal bowl.
RETURNS: All crystal bowls are warranted to be free of defects. If a crystal bowl arrives damaged, please notify us immediately. Otherwise, there are no returns on crystal bowls and all sales will be final. If a bowl should become damaged through use or by accident, let us know and we may be able to repair it for a small fee. In such a case, the buyer pays return shipping, plus insurance both ways.
PRECAUTIONS: No medical claims are made about the use of crystal bowls. Crystal Bowls do not replace medical advice. If you experience any health problems you should always consult your regular physican. Do not place a person’s head inside a crystal bowl while playing it. Do not strike or play bowl too loudly, especially near a person’s head. Place bowls at least 12 inches apart, or the vibration may shatter a bowl. Bowls may also shatter if several are playing in a small room. Some have noted discomfort or pain if they have metal pins or stainless steel balljoints. Ask before sounding the bowl.
